Loch Lomond Holiday Park

Interesting Property

An opportunity to own a new property within the Loch Lomond Holiday Park has become available. Unlikely a property you would use as a permanent residence and you need fairly deep pockets.

Location

On the banks of Loch Lomond within the Loch Lomond Holiday Park, a new lodge is available. Probably not a property you are going to live in as a home, although no reason why you couldn’t I guess.

What you get

A new property within an established holiday village, very high quality finish all around and boasts some nice features including:

  • A private, enclosed garden which is unusual for this type of property
  • High position with a stunning view across the loch
  • Large decking area
  • Open plan living areas, great for entertaining or just looking out across the loch

The property is provided as you see in the images so all ready to move straight in.

Unusually for Scotland but not unusual for this type of accommodation it is a leasehold rather than freehold property.

I suspect the likely purchaser is going to be someone who will spend weekends/holidays at the lodge whilst letting it out for a large part of the year. The rental yield should be quite decent.

As this is within a holiday village there are likely conditions around renting and other fees to be paid annually.

As you would imagine, a premium lodge in a premium location will cost. In this case, offers in the region of £500,000. Not within everyone’s budget for what is not going to be the main home but certainly nice to have if you can afford it!

If you’re interested in finding out more, the agents for the property are JC Roxburgh Properties in Troon. I suspect it will go reasonably quickly.
